Advocate Samir Agrawal is the founder of Law Chambers of Samir Agrawal and brings over 15 years of high-impact legal experience across corporate law, appellate litigation, and regulatory disputes. An alumnus of London University (2011), he completed his Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a Distinction in his dissertation - a rare academic achievement that reflects his analytical depth and scholarship.

Following his postgraduate studies, Samir spent eight years with two of India’s most prestigious corporate law firms, AZB & Partners and JSA, New Delhi, where he advised and represented leading global and domestic corporations on complex commercial, regulatory, and competition law matters.

In 2018, he transitioned full-time into litigation, regularly appearing before the Supreme Court of India, the High Court of Allahabad, the National Company Law Tribunal, and various statutory tribunals and appellate bodies.

Over the course of his practice, Samir has represented several marquee clients, including:
OYO, ANSAL, HYUNDAI, TIMEX, among others.

His landmark matter, Samir Agrawal v. Competition Commission of India & Others, (2021) 3 SCC 136, 138, received international recognition, being featured by the Global Competition Review, Kluwer New York, and other global legal platforms. The case is now taught as part of the curriculum at the Faculty of Law, Delhi University, and is considered a significant precedent in Indian competition law. In this matter, Samir argued against some of the country’s most eminent senior advocates, including Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi and Amit Sibal.

Samir is frequently invited to deliver talks at National Law Universities, leading law schools, think tanks, and corporate organizations, where he speaks on litigation strategy, competition law, regulatory compliance, and the evolving nature of Indian jurisprudence.

He has also served as a Fellow at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), Netherlands, further enriching his global legal exposure.
